A well-known agricultural and farming business seeks an academically sound and experienced Accountant to join their finance team based in Cape Town Central.

A well-known agricultural and farming business seeks an academically sound and experienced Accountant to join their finance team based in Cape Town Central.

The succesful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting audits.

Duties include, but will not be limited to compile reports for various business needs, preparing tax documents and VAT related duties, compiling and analyzing financial statements, budgeting and forecasting, full debtors and creditors function, as well as preparation of management accounts for 3 companies.

Education:

BCom in Accounting / Finance

Skills & Experience:

5 to 10 years'' experience in a full finance function role

Strong compuer literacy

Valid drivers'' license is a non-negotiable

Good knowledge of ERP systems

Financial acumen

Strong personality

Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment

Team player
