Accountant

SUMMARY:
Manufacturing company based in the East of Johannesburg has a vacancy for an Accountant. The applicant must be available immediately. Please refer to the requirements for more detailed information.

POSITION INFO:

Ideally the company is looking for an Accountant from Manufacturing (cement, concrete, construction or related industries). It would be highly advantageous for the person to be available immediately.

Requirements:

• B Comm Degree
• 6-8 years experience
• Bookkeeping experience
• Debtors/creditors experience – three staff members reports into this role
• Closing reporting periods
• Treasury experience including bank reconciliations, hedging foreign payments, petty cash, etc
• Financial reporting including month-end and mid-month financial updates
• Annual budget and forecast preparation and assistance
• Fully proficient in MS Office
• SAGE (Accpac) ERP experience
• Pastel accounting package experience
