A national manufacturing and wholesale concern seeks a hard working and experienced Accountant to join their driven finance team based in Johannesburg South.

In this role you will be responsible for the full finance function and carrying out any other finance related duties as required by management. Duties include but not limited to GL maintenance, monthly journal preparation, reconciliations, VAT and tax related duties, management reports compilation, assist with preparation of audits, assisting with annual budget processes and fixed asset register maintenance.

Education:

BCom / Diploma in Accounting / Finance

Job Experience & Skills Required:

3+ years’ experience in a full finance function role

Manufacturing / retail experience is essential

Minimum typing speed of 35 word per minute is essential

Advanced MS Excel skills

Good understanding of accounting principles

Good relationship building skills

Excellent planning and organizational skills

Strategic thinker

Team player

Deadline driven

Meticulous attention to detail
