SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking an analytical Accountant who possesses good organisational skills and has the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.

POSITION INFO:

You will ideally have 3-5 years’ experience working at an auditing company having worked with retail clients our gained experience within the retail sector. Great career opportunity to work with a multi-national.

Degree in Accounting

Retail sector experience, highly advantageous
Exposure to Financial Management
Strong accounting background
Advanced level Excel
Working knowledge of Syspro

Key Results Area:

Responsible for Accounting and Internal Control for retail outlets and ecommerce stores
Ensure that the financial records are accurate, complete, and in compliance
Prepare and distribute the Management Accounts
Manage the entities working capital
Ensure all recons are done on time - Bank and Balance Sheet
Manage supplier payments and circulate creditors ageing on a weekly basis
Manage the daily shop cash-ups and petty cash
Manage the retail entities end to end banking requirements
Ensure supplier contributions are captured on time and follow up on any outstanding payments
