Accountant (6 month contract)

The successful applicant will be responsible for performing the required financial accounting functions for a specific section of the business. This will include providing support to management in achieving the overall goals of the finance department, reconciliations, and insuring compliance with relevant governance principles and accounting requirements.

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience in either a finance or commercial services position with financial accounting exposure.
Strong knowledge of financial administration policies
Ability to comprehend financial accounting concepts including IFRS.
Proficient in Excel.
Detail orientated.
Can work with heavy time constraints alongside a team.
Team player that works towards and reaches deliverables.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal (this should also include being able to run workgroups/meetings).

Qualification:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance (A minimum of a 3-year degree in Finance).
