SUMMARY:
We’ve recently partnered with a leading player in the manufacturing and construction industry to appoint an Accountant on a 3-month fixed term contract. This role is ideal for an immediately available finance professional who is ready to hit the ground running and support the team through a critical period.
POSITION INFO:
As the Accountant, your duties include the following:
Handle day-to-day accounting responsibilities to support accurate reporting
Assist with tax submissions and compliance
Perform variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance
Work extensively in Excel, applying functions such as VLOOKUPSs and pivot tables
Perform monthly bank statement reconciliations
Process weekly and monthly payments
Skills & Experience:
3 years experience (preferably from the manufacturing, construction or mining industry)
Immediate availability is essential
Advanced Excel skills
SAP Proficiency
Qualification:
Completed Finance or Accounting degree/diploma
Completed Matric
