POSITION INFO:

Fantastic opportunity available for an articled Accountant to join a fast growing Accounting team. Role based in the Overberg District, and requires someone who is based within close proximity. Whether you're a recently completed SAIPA or SAICA articled candidate or if you have a few years experience in the accounting firm space, we want to hear from you. This is a full-time in office based opportunity.  They have a varied client portfolio and the role offers good scope for growth and exposure to varied industries and business sizes. If you're client focussed, looking to join a growing stable team in the Overberg area and have a good command of Afrikaans, then this could be for you!

What you will be doing:

• Full bookkeeping and accounting functions
• Prepare and submit returns
• Perform statutory work
• Prepare annual financial statements and working papers
• Resolve queries
• Handle income tax calculations and submissions
• Perform administrative duties

What we are looking for? 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Completed SAIPA / SAICA articles
• Excellent time management skills
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Hardworking, reliable, and proactive
• Computer literate
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
