Do you love working with numbers AND people? Our client in the commodity sector is looking for an Accountant who can bring both skill and personality to their finance team.

POSITION INFO:

Exposure to a dynamic commodity environment, with extra points if you’ve touched mining or processing before.
A close-knit team that values clear communication – which is why being fluent in Afrikaans and English is non-negotiable.

What you’ll be doing:

Preparing management accounts & ensuring IFRS compliance.
Running with invoicing, reconciliations, AP & AR, and cash flow reporting.
Getting stuck into budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Handling VAT, PAYE, statutory returns & supporting audits.
Keeping intercompany transactions and controls on track.
Assisting with costings for proposals and suggesting smarter ways of doing things.

What we need from you:

Completed SAIPA articles.
1–2 years post-article experience.
Fluency in Afrikaans & English (you’ll work closely with Afrikaans-speaking clients).
A sharp eye for detail, curiosity for problem-solving, and a collaborative mindset.
