SUMMARY:
Are you a technically strong Accountant with completed SAICA articles and 1–2 years of post-articles experience?

POSITION INFO:
A well-established player in the logistics and transport sector is looking for a driven and detail-oriented individual to join their finance team.

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:

Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports
Perform reconciliations, journals, and month-end processes
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Maintain fixed asset registers and ensure accurate depreciation schedules
Ensure compliance with IFRS and applicable tax regulations
Liaise with Auditors, SARS, and other external stakeholders
Provide financial insight and support to operational teams

Qualifications and Skills:

BCom Accounting Degree or equivalent
Completed SAICA articles
1–2 years of post-articles experience in a commercial environment
Strong working knowledge of IFRS and tax principles
Proficient in Excel and accounting systems (e.g., Sage, Pastel, or similar)
Analytical mindset with a hands-on, proactive approach
