Company and Job Description
Our client is seeking an Accountant to join their finance team on a 12-month contract basis. This opportunity is ideally suited to a finance professional who has completed SAIPA articles and is looking to broaden their experience within a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting tax compliance, and assisting with financial reporting activities. This position offers excellent hands-on exposure across various aspects of the accounting function and the opportunity to work closely with experienced finance professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records
- Perform monthly reconciliations and financial reporting
- Assist with tax calculations, submissions, and compliance
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Monitor and maintain financial controls
- Analyse financial information and provide meaningful insights
Job Experience and Skills Required
Education:- SAIPA Articles completed
- SAIPA registered or eligible for registration
Experience:- Minimum 1 year of articles experience
- Exposure to accounting and taxation functions
- Property industry exposure advantageous
Skills:- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
