POSITION INFO:
Are you an experienced accountant ready to make an impact in a dynamic manufacturing company? Look no further – our client is on the lookout for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as an Accountant.

Our client is committed to innovation and excellence, delivering cutting-edge electrical products while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of their financial records.

Duties:

Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports.
Manage general ledger entries and ensure accuracy in financial records.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Reconcile bank statements and maintain balance sheets.
Prepare tax filings.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
Conduct internal audits and recommend process improvements.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
BCom Accounting
BCom Honours

Experience:

3 to 5 Years experience in an accounting role.
Experience with accounting to management accounts.
Must have experience with external auditors.
SYSPRO experience is a must.

Skills & Competencies:

Natural inclination towards problem solving.
Understand good accounting controls and procedures with the added ability to draw up procedural files.
A proactive and results-oriented mindset.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software.
