French or Portuguese are essential for this role!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for achieving sales, revenues and GP targets within the allocated client base or area as defined
Responsible for identifying and developing new clients deemed as suitable for the organisation's Exports within the allocated client base or area.
Visit, e-mail, telephone calls to clients as per calling structures.
Provide regular feedback and reports as defined by relevant ISO procedures and by the responsible Sales Manager on activity within the specified client base or area.
Participate in the presentation of potential solutions to clients and negotiate Service Level Agreements in line with company policies, to meet the client’s requirement and expectations.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans in the allocated client base or area to accommodate Company objectives, targets, and budgets.
Review market analysis to determine customer needs, and recommend price schedules and discount rates
Delivers sales presentations to clients and displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalogue, and emphasizes saleable features.
Regularly contact clients, assisting them with sales quotes, literature, technical support, marketing material and training.
Monitors and evaluates competition activities and products.
Ensures calendar / CRM system updated with all client contact details and client activities within the branch. This includes details of contact persons, positions held, influence and decision-making level.
Ensures effective use of sales tools provided by the Company. These could be marketing, product, or business-related tools.
Forecasting of current and future potential business within the client base including product category by vendor in conjunction with the Sales Manager.
Schedule correspondence with clients using email, SMS, and telephonic mediums in line with Exports and client requirements to ensure consistent contact and knowledge transfer through to closure of the sale.
Provide effective delivery of training within the client base or area
Assist where needed in the preparation of client quotations in line with company ISO procedures and relative Service Level Agreements
Monitor debtors together with finance department and Sales Manager to ensure timely collection of outstanding monies in line with Projects policies and procedures.
Provides immediate feedback to the debtors and finance departments with regards to any change in the clients’ status or ownership
Attend trade shows and product launches as scheduled by the company
Work with all Exports personnel responsible for the on-going quality service as required by the client – Management team, product managers, technical consultants, sales consultants, counter sales, procurement, warehousing, operations, finance, and administration
Ensure ISO procedures with respect to pricing policy, discounts and SLA agreements are adhered to
Attend meetings as stipulated or scheduled by Exports Management team
Solves technical queries on products; by providing telephonic support.
Gives afterhours support to clients, where necessary.
Assists fellow Sales Representatives with the support of their clients during illness, annual leave, or general unavailability.
Assists the Branch Administrator in the management of all slow moving, excess, and redundant stock.
Assists the Branch Administrator with monthly stock forecasting.
Maintains ISO Compliancy.
Regularly travel across the African continent to visit customers.

- Matric Certificate
- Minimum of five years’ experience in the Exports Market
- Current valid driver’s licence
- Fully Insured for Business use, road worthy and licensed motor vehicle
- Must be computer literate
- Current valid Passport

- Sales related qualification and/or training will be an advantage
- Interpersonal skills.
- Strong CCTV, Access Control, Fire, PA, Networking, and Integration Experience.
- Proven Sales Track history.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Basic reasoning ability.
- Portuguese or French speaking will be ESSENTIAL
