Utilise your strong Exports experience within CCTV,  Access Control, Fire, PA, Networking, and Integration Experience within this solid organisation, a Leader in their market.

French or Portuguese are essential for this role!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Responsible for achieving sales, revenues and GP targets within the allocated client base or area as defined 
  • Responsible for identifying and developing new clients deemed as suitable for the organisation's Exports within the allocated client base or area.
  • Visit, e-mail, telephone calls to clients as per calling structures.
  • Provide regular feedback and reports as defined by relevant ISO procedures and by the responsible Sales Manager on activity within the specified client base or area.
  • Participate in the presentation of potential solutions to clients and negotiate Service Level Agreements in line with company policies, to meet the client’s requirement and expectations.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans in the allocated client base or area to accommodate Company objectives, targets, and budgets.
  • Review market analysis to determine customer needs, and recommend price schedules and discount rates
  • Delivers sales presentations to clients and displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalogue, and emphasizes saleable features.
  • Regularly contact clients, assisting them with sales quotes, literature, technical support, marketing material and training.
  • Monitors and evaluates competition activities and products.
  • Ensures calendar / CRM system updated with all client contact details and client activities within the branch. This includes details of contact persons, positions held, influence and decision-making level.
  • Ensures effective use of sales tools provided by the Company. These could be marketing, product, or business-related tools.
  • Forecasting of current and future potential business within the client base including product category by vendor in conjunction with the Sales Manager.
  • Schedule correspondence with clients using email, SMS, and telephonic mediums in line with Exports and client requirements to ensure consistent contact and knowledge transfer through to closure of the sale.
  • Provide effective delivery of training within the client base or area
  • Assist where needed in the preparation of client quotations in line with company ISO procedures and relative Service Level Agreements
  • Monitor debtors together with finance department and Sales Manager to ensure timely collection of outstanding monies in line with Projects policies and procedures.
  • Provides immediate feedback to the debtors and finance departments with regards to any change in the clients’ status or ownership
  • Attend trade shows and product launches as scheduled by the company
  • Work with all Exports personnel responsible for the on-going quality service as required by the client – Management team, product managers, technical consultants, sales consultants, counter sales, procurement, warehousing, operations, finance, and administration
  • Ensure ISO procedures with respect to pricing policy, discounts and SLA agreements are adhered to
  • Attend meetings as stipulated or scheduled by Exports Management team
  • Solves technical queries on products; by providing telephonic support.
  • Gives afterhours support to clients, where necessary.
  • Assists fellow Sales Representatives with the support of their clients during illness, annual leave, or general unavailability.
  • Assists the Branch Administrator in the management of all slow moving, excess, and redundant stock.
  • Assists the Branch Administrator with monthly stock forecasting.
  • Maintains ISO Compliancy.
  • Regularly travel across the African continent to visit customers.


- Matric Certificate
- Minimum of five years’ experience in the Exports Market
- Current valid driver’s licence
- Fully Insured for Business use, road worthy and licensed motor     vehicle
- Must be computer literate
- Current valid Passport

- Sales related qualification and/or training will be an advantage
- Interpersonal skills.
- Strong CCTV, Access Control, Fire, PA, Networking, and Integration Experience.
- Proven Sales Track history.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Basic reasoning ability.
- Portuguese or French speaking will be ESSENTIAL
