Our client a Multinational listed company in Rondebosch CAPETOWN seeks an Experienced accounts Manager  with Proven sales experience to join their team - ideally coming from the banking industry - having sold ATM’s, POS Devices etc  Previous corporate clients in the retail service industry would be beneficial. Must be sales and target driven individual with a proven track record .

Must be passionate to  generate new business and retain and  maintain existing client relationships .

Experience in selling of devises such as terminals to the industry for services and Probable knowledge of banking and retail industry

  • Minimum three year’s successful experience in Sales : Account Maintenance
  • At least three years successful experience in cold calling and sales experience
  • Experience with tender process
  • Prepaid Electricity vending, bill payment, traffic fines processing, knowledge and background
  • Must have sales and marketing experience even though you have an existing base, you will need to sign on new clients.

 Responsibilities :

  • To meet a monthly new business target
  • To meet pre-set KPi`s for self-generated new business appointments
  • To work within a predefined region and to actively promote all services
  • Follow up on referrals and new leads resulting after field activity
  • To liaise with internal staff to ensure new business is handed over and integrated correctly
  • To actively interact with other sales colleagues within the wider group for other potential leads for my client’s services
  • To be flexible and willing to develop product knowledge of additional products and services
  • Preparing a variety of sales status reports that include activity, follow-up and closings when requested by your Line Manager
  • To complete all necessary internal paperwork for every new client
  • To meet agreed KPI’s and personal targets relationship building;
  • Researching the market and related products;
  • Presenting the product or service in a structured professional way face to face.
  • Selling to the consumer or end user.
  • Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale;
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails;
  • Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business;
  • Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries;
  • Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets;
  • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales;
  • Gathering market and customer information;
  • Representing the organisation at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations;
  • Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy;
  • Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions;
  • Creating detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process that is largely dictated by the prospective customer;
  • Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office, or entering into a computer system;
  • Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets;
  • Gaining a clear understanding of customers'''''''' businesses and requirements;
  • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations;
  • Feeding future buying trends back to employers;
  • Attending team meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues.
