SUMMARY:
One of South Africa's leading Retailers is seeking a dynamic Account Executive to join their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements: 
  • Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years experience within advertising, FMCG or retail industry.
  • Proven track record of effective management of sales, meeting and increasing sales budgets.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the POS industry is helpful, but not essential.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Confidentiality.
  • Time-management and organization skills.
Duties and responsibilities: 
  • Must be customer focused and flexible with good relationship-building skills.
  • Innovative thinker, continuously looking at new ways to grow revenue.
  • Strong communicator, works well in a team, displays leadership skills.
  • Formulate and implement account development plans.
  • Ability to work with multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Self driven.
  • Must be well-read, open to new ideas and influences and able to react to changing trends.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned targets.
  • Good business sense and sales ability with strong presentation skills.
  • Track and report on key sales.
  • Provide clients with insights on execution opportunities.
  • Ability to resolve conflict issues with customers in a professional manner.
  • Deal with all client requests in a timeously.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Management of client contracts.
  • Maintain a good relationship with clients, third party companies and all stakeholders.
  • Track and manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
