AUTOMATION SALES ENGINEER (Electrical)

SUMMARY:
My client, which supplies innovative products and technology for all aspects of electrical engineering and automation is currently seeking a well-qualified and experienced sales engineer. You will be primarily responsible for automation products and solutions specifically. This incumbent will target system integrators only.

POSITION INFO:

You will maximise business opportunity for the company and achieve the required order intake resulting in profitable sales by selling the company’s automation solutions.

Requirements

Knowledge

• Must have good technical experience in Electrical and Instrumentation and have had a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
• Must have in depth knowledge of the relevant markets
• PLC programming experience
• In depth knowledge of industrial networking and communication systems

 Skills

• Technically competent with the ability to interact with people at all levels and able to propagate a total solutions philosophy.
• Well organised with the ability to respond appropriately to market/customer dynamics.
• Confident, motivated and proactive individual with ability to execute tasks independently, accurately and timeously.
• Must be computer literate 
• Good language skills both written and spoken in English
• Must be able to do technical presentations and in-depth training on the products

 Qualifications

Required:

• National Diploma in process related subject.
• Minimum of 5 years technical experience in industrial process control and industrial automation environment.
• Proven track record in solution selling
