ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER (LIVE-IN)
POSITION INFO:
RedCat Recruitment is urgently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER (LIVE-IN) for a well-established hotel / resort, position based in the Drakensberg area.
!PERSON SHOULD PREFERABLY BE ABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY!
JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
Valid driver’s license / own transport. Usage of company transport for work purposes.
English / Zulu speaking (person must be able to speak, read and write English / Zulu competently).
Diploma in Hospitality / Food Services or similar, alternatively equivalent practical in-house training.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Previous working experience on hospitality programmes, e.g. Opera, Micros POS system).
3 years in a similar position or alternatively 5 years’ experience in a Food and Beverage Manager position.
Budgeting and reporting.
Operational planning and organising.
Overview of the management of all operations and service departments.
Stock control.
Administration and control.
Security, hygiene and safety.
Guest relations management.
Management of human resources including employment equity forum.
Self-management.
Salary package offered: - To be discussed (includes live-in accommodation / meals / housekeeping / 6 days off monthly).
