Responsibilities:
- Prepare Mathematic AS papers
- Provide extra classes after hours and during holidays to prepare for exams
- Plan and deliver dynamic and well-structured maths lessons that cater to students' diverse learning needs
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages active participation and collaborative learning
- Teach and assess students' mathematical knowledge, skills, and understanding
- Instil problem-solving strategies and promote logical thinking in students' approach to mathematics
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to support students' progress and achievement
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources
- Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and school events to foster positive engagement and communication
- Keep abreast of educational advancements and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Willing to undergo training
- Sociable and team player
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary school level
- In-depth knowledge of the Maths curriculum and proficiency in teaching key mathematical concepts
- Strong subject knowledge in areas such as algebra, geometry, statistics, and calculus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment and think out of the box
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with educational trends
Working hours are from 08:00 – 13:00; on a yearly contract
