Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and technically minded individual to join their 3-year Millwright Apprenticeship Programme. This structured programme combines practical workplace experience with theoretical training while earning a monthly stipend.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Physical Science
- OR Technical N2/N3 qualification with relevant trade subjects
- Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Strong safety awareness
- Self-driven and able to work under pressure
- Own reliable transport
- Must reside within 30km of Driehoek, Germiston
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime when required
COMPUTER SKILLS
- Basic computer literacy
- Microsoft Office proficiency advantageous
- Exposure to maintenance and workshop systems advantageous
- Exposure to PLC/HMI systems advantageous
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist qualified Millwrights and maintenance staff with electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks
- Participate in practical and theoretical apprenticeship training
- Assist with fault finding, troubleshooting, and machinery repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections
- Learn to interpret technical drawings and maintenance instructions
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and procedures
- Maintain good housekeeping and safe working practices
- Assist with installations and modifications of machinery and equipment
- Complete training logs and maintenance documentation accurately
- Work effectively within a team environment while developing technical skills
- Attend training sessions, assessments, and trade-related development activities
