SUMMARY:
Harrismith Area – Free State: Our client seeks to add a skilled farm manager to his team. Potential opportunity for partner of successful candidate to work in the packhouse

POSITION INFO:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Agriculture Diploma/Degree advantageous
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in apple and or citrus management
• Previous experience with appl farming advantageous
• Proven orchard experience
• Computer literacy in MS Office (excel, outlook, word)
• Administrative and management experience
• People management experience

Responsibilities

• Effective workforce management, coordination and development
• Management of diseases and pests
• Water management and pruning of trees
• Establish new orchards
• Maintain records and documentation
• Practical maintenance
