A mining company is currently looking for an AP & AR Officer to join their finance team on contract.

As the AP & AR Officer; you will be responsible for capturing of invoices, statements and payment of suppliers. The individual will also be responsible for issuing invoices, statements and the collection of the customer’s book.

As an AP & AR Officer, you will be responsible for the following:

Assist in preparation of reports on creditors and debtors ageing
Comply with relevant accounting policies and procedures
Assist in preparing the annual audit file
Maintain complete and accurate creditor records
Prepare reconciliations of statements and balances
Issue proof of payment
Maintain completed debtors records
The capture of debtors invoices and credit notes
Follow-up on debtor related issues
Prepare and posting of intercompany invoicing

Qualifications:

Completed Finance Qualification

Skill:

2 - 5 experience in a similar role

Attention to detail

Mining or Construction industry preferred
