SUMMARY:
To ensure the management of Medical Aid Schemes and Insurance Claims Management Process. To manage clients expectation and deliverables. To have a resource to provide technical assistance to staff in order to initiate billing to all appropriate clients. To be up to date on regulations and implements changes regarding claims and billing requirements
POSITION INFO:
Duties:
- The position entails evaluating management information,
- Management of Medical Aid Schemes and Insurance Claims Processes
- Providing Technical assistance to staff
- Assess and process 65 claims per day
- Solutions are offered according to protocols, procedures and product benefits;
- Takes full responsibility for actions and self-training; provides a full service to clients; readily accepts change; behaves ethically at all times
Requirements:
· Matric (Essential)
· Medical Qualification- Advance Life Support (Essential)
· FAIS compliant (Essential)
· 3 years’ experience in managing a team
· Experience in the insurance sector will be beneficial
· Regulatory Exam will be advantageous
· Medical Aid Schemes Experience, leadership experience (Advantage)
- Proven competence in the relevant field of compliance, quality assessments / assurance
- Demonstrates Sound Clinical Judgement and Current with Protocols and International Best Practice
