POSITION INFO:
AI Data Scientist

What You’ll Do:

• Design & deploy AI voice and text bots that power smarter customer experiences.
• Build and optimize Speech-to-Text, Text-to-Speech, and LLM-driven solutions.
• Develop AI-powered quality assurance systems for call monitoring.
• Innovate with NLP/NLU for African languages and low-resource settings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed AI into business processes.
• Stay on the bleeding edge of Generative AI, ML Ops, and Responsible AI.
• Bring AI models to production and ensure performance at scale.

• A Degree in AI, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (Honours minimum; Master’s preferred)
• Strong experience with Python, SQL, Azure, and cloud-based AI platforms
• Proven ability in chatbot development, LLMs, and speech tech APIs
• Solid skills in TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face
• Experience with ETL, data pipelines, API development & integration
• Knowledge of Git, Docker, and version control in a production environment
• A passion for solving real-world problems with AI—especially in voice and language tech
