Job Description
This beautiful Restaurant located in Sandton seeks an experienced Restaurant Executive Chef and Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House Kitchen Management, Administration and Cooking. The Chef must be able to cook, create and cost menus and specials, train staff on the menus and specials, manage a busy pass, expedite the food to required high standards as well as be a good operator of the kitchen. Ability to lead a team of 20 Chefs. Previous Restaurant Experience within a similar position is required.
Qualifications
Formal Professional Cookery Diploma is essential.
Skills
Good Kitchen Management abilities. Able to work Flexible restaurant hours as required. Good leadership, kitchen administration, stock control and menu/special creation skills. Ability to physically cook oneself. Great with Flavours and presentation.
