SUMMARY: Sous Chef
POSITION INFO:
A luxury brand upmarket Hotel and popular Restaurant/Function/Conference/Wedding Venue located in Pretoria/Centurion.
This role will report directly to the Head/Executive Chef. This role will act as 2nd in charge of the Kitchen Brigade of 22 chefs. The Sous Chef must have strong Kitchen Administration skills, relating to Food Cost Controls, Ordering, Menu Planning, Staff Management, Training and Hygiene controls. The Chef will also be required to be hands-on with Upmarket Plated and Banqueting Meal preparation and presentation and Guest liaison as and when required. Previous experience within similar role essential.
Formal Professional Cookery Diploma is preferred.
Great Kitchen Administration skills. Good Leadership skills. Creative with strong Cooking and Presentation skills in both Fine Dining A la Carte and Banqueting service.
R10000-R17000 dependent on experience/capability
