Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Admitted Conveyancer to join this with excellent technical and people skills. Preference for AA Candidates but open to all applications with strong experience.
Reporting Structure:
Reports to: Bonds Manager + Head of Conveyancing
Subordinates: Work with paralegals and possibly a CA. More a team than hierarchically structured.
General Responsibilities:
- Fully independent oversight of conveyancing transactions (Transfers, Bonds and Bond Cancellations) from the inception of instruction to registration thereof.
- Interacting with Originators, Banks, Estate Agents and other key stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience post admission as a Conveyancer in a conveyancing practice.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the total end-to-end Bonds process, relating to the minimum requirements as set out in the Panelled Attorney Service Level Agreement contracted with the banks. (Experience with at least 2 of the 4 major banks)
- LexisConvey and E4 system knowledge and experience, as well as Stordoc, DocExchange and LexisSign a requirement.
- Candidates must have strong numeracy skills to enable them to deal with and finalise any financial aspects of a conveyancing transaction.

Admitted Attorney and Conveyancer.
Skills
Minumum 3 Years Post Admission Experience as a Conveyancer. A well-balanced individual with high EQ, good people skills, client-centric and the ability to interact very well with Estate Agents. Strong drive and initiative, combined with a humble, trustworthy and accountable disposition. Own car and drivers license.
