AGRONOMIST - FRUITS, VEG AND NUTS - (NELSPRUIT)

SUMMARY:
Our Client is currently seeking an Agronomist to be based in Nelspruit. Frequent travel to Limpopo will be required, as the successful candidate will be required to service both Mpumalanga and Limpopo Farmers.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements

• 3-5 Years of experience in a similar position;
• Knowledge of avocados, macadamias, fruit (citrus, mango’s bananas), vegetables, and sugar cane;
• BSc Degree (Soil Science, Plant Nutrition, Horticulture, Plant Physiology, Agronomy or a combination of these relevant fields);
• Proven experience in field trials management and customer prospecting;
• Knowledge of the methodology for assembling, conducting and harvesting fields trials;
• Knowledge of presentation techniques in a clear, assertive and aligned with company''s objectives way;
• Approved in BASOS (FERTASA);
• Approved in AFCASA;
• Drivers’ license;
• MS Office advanced skills (mainly Power Point and Excel).
