Tyre Company seeks an Accounts Payable Clerk to assist branches with Accounts Payable queries and reconciliations. Key Performance Areas are, review Creditors Reconciliations and COD Accounts, Lease and own Rental Agreements and Utility Accounts, Utility Accounts and COD Accounts, Prepare weekly and monthly payments, Clearing of Age Analysis, Capturing Invoices, Liaise with internal and external suppliers. Sorting of post and filing Skills and experience required. Good interpersonal skills and assertive negotiator at the Management level. Knowledge of creditors and reconciliations. Effective communication and negotiating skills, especially with suppliers. Ability to work independently as a self-starter within the team and a passion to succeed in a challenging environment. A minimum of 5 years of creditors experience in the tyre industry, Knowledge of the GRIPS system will be an advantage. The minimum qualification required is a Grade 12 (Matric). Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged persons.
