SUMMARY:
ACCOUNTANT (Spartan area)

POSITION INFO:

• Tertiary degree
• Minimum 10 years’ experience as an accountant in the Construction / Tendering environment
• Minimum 10 years’ experience of working with Sage Accpac and Pastel Partner
• Minimum 5 years’ experience of working in a multinational organization, dealing in multiple currencies, with a Turnover more than R1bn per annum
• Experience in dealing with Bonds and Guarantees in a tendering environment
• Good matric results (an A in Accounting would be advantageous)
• Knowledge and experience in working with a payroll package would be beneficial
• Additional courses on Accpac would be beneficial
• Advanced excel skills is imperative
• Experience in reconciling loan accounts in different reporting currencies
• African experience would be highly advantageous
• Experience in dealing with VAT would be highly advantageous
