Job Description
We are seeking an experienced A-Class Welder to join our team. As an A-Class Welder, you will be responsible for ensuring quality workmanship in accordance with standards, maintaining a safe working environment, managing equipment, completing tasks within allocated budget and timeframe, and demonstrating key competencies such as adaptability, teamwork, and reliability.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Minimum of 4 years as a Coded Welder in Boiler pressure part environment
- Conduct final visual inspection of welds
- Inspect and report on welding equipment
- Understand management and use of welding consumables
- Ensure correct execution of construction requirements
Qualifications and Requirements
- Grade 12 - NQF 4 (Maths & Science)
- IIW Welding Practitioner
- N3 - NQF 3
- Fit for Duty - OHS Act medical
- Driver's License - Code B minimum
- Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and heat stress environments
- Welder SAQA ID: 94100 - NQF 4
