A 360 recruiter in the Progressive Edge Recruitment business is critical in identifying, sourcing and placing top technical talent for our valued clients across Cape Town.  You will also need to be excited about bringing in new business and landing clients – your area of expertise lies in both partnering with companies who have resourcing and recruitment needs, as well as recruiting great talent and walking them through the recruitment process while having a fun doing so. You will be responsible for proactively sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing qualified candidates, and partnering with your client throughout the full recruitment cycle. The ideal candidate for this role will thrive in a small, but fast-paced boutique specialist agency and will work with a small team and a few external partners.

These are the kinds of things that will keep you busy

  • Build up a client base to service from a recruitment perspective
  • Research, source, identify and interview candidates for open positions allocated to you
  • Where necessary allocate your overflow roles to candidate focused recruiters within the business
  • Walk both clients & candidates though the entire recruitment cycle
  • Update and maintain the ATS giving care to data quality
  • Update & maintain both Project Management tools and activity sheets
  • Both permanent and contracting positions may form part of your portfolio
  • Work with the team in streamlining processes to continuously improve business processes and workflows
  • Continuously attract talent by using multiple sources to advertise and recruit
  • Continuously build a talent pipeline and referral network
  • Negotiating offers
  • Ad-hoc administrative duties
  • Develop and update job descriptions
  • Efficiently manage a strong candidate flow to the team
  • Identify and implement new innovative ways to source and connect with talent
  • Mentor more junior recruiters and share knowledge wherever you can
  • Contribute to the culture of the team

Requirements

  • 3 to 4 years experience in AGENCY Recruitment
  • Experience in hiring for IT / Tech related positions essential
  • Experience supporting a fast-paced organization.
  • Experience using an ATS (applicant tracking system)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
  • You need to have both the ability and confidence to engage with high level senior candidates

Note:  All applications without a tech recruitment focus, or those with no Agency recruitment experience will be rejected.  We are specifically looking for an experience Tech recruiter for this role.
