2023 Unemployed Learnership

As part of our Employment Equity strategy for 2023 CIB will be hosting a special Learnership Program that will ultimately provide young unemployed school leavers with an opportunity to obtain a full Short-Term Insurance qualification whilst acquiring much needed formal work exposure.

• Matric (with Mathematics)
• EE candidates only
• For the Johannesburg based program, candidates must preferably reside in the East Rand area with reliable transport arrangements.
• Must be willing to commit to a 12 month learnership contract

Benefits for the learner:

• 12 months formal work exposure within the Short-Term insurance sphere (job shadowing with basic work assignments to help develop insurance knowledge, customer service skills, computer literacy and communication skills.)
• A full Short Term Insurance Further Education and Training Certificate at NQF Level 4
• Stipend of R3000 per month as basic remuneration
• Permanent employment cannot be guaranteed, but the experience and formal qualification will greatly assist in developing an attractive CV
