JOB DESCRIPTION:

My client is a cloud services company providing cloud contact centre technology and services to South African companies.

They are seeking to appoint a talented and committed 1st Line Service Agent to perform a key role in assisting clients with troubleshooting and resolution of customer support queries.  This role has become available due to their continuing growth.   This is a great opportunity to join a growing organisation with opportunities for further career enhancement or for those keen to progress.

The ideal candidate should have experience of working in a call centre environment, requiring constant updating of knowledge in both the technical and procedural aspects of the job.

 

Skills, Qualifications and Work Experience required

Whilst experience and qualifications are important considerations, a candidate’s aptitude and attitude are the strongest indicators of a good fit.  My client is looking for optimistic, pleasant and ambitious people who want to make a difference.

  • Minimum 2 years experience working in a customer service role.
  • A technical qualification such as A+ or N+ is a REQUIREMENT.
  • MCSE qualification is a benefit.
  • Knowledge of basic network routing & troubleshooting (Ping, Tracert, Pingplotter etc.)
  • Knowledge of basic PC troubleshooting (Audio, Headsets, Chrome, Windows OS etc.)
  • Knowledge of analysing and troubleshooting log files (Notepad++)
  • OUTSTANDING COMMAND OF ENGLISH – grammar and spelling errors won’t be entertained.
  • Any qualification or certification that demonstrates application to studies and achieving goals is a benefit.
  • The ability to work in a dynamic environment, prioritising and multi-tasking effectively.
  • Be passionate about customers and service, with a strong will to make a difference.
  • Strong problem solving abilities and excellent communication, customer handling and inter-personal skills.
  • Target focused, proactive and keen to spot opportunities to refine and improve processes and service.
  • Must be able to deal directly with clients in a friendly and highly confident manner demonstrating excellent internal and external customer communication skills.
  • Strong planning, organising and prioritising abilities.
  • Is self-starting, analytical, results and solutions-driven.
  • Calm and able to focus when in a pressure situation.
  • Knowledge of call centre environment.
  • Position is to work remotely to start with so good internet connection at home is a requirement.
