Role Overview:
A well-established automotive dealership in the East Rand is offering a 12-month YES Internship opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven Sales Cadet. This role is suited to unemployed youth who are eager to gain hands-on experience in vehicle sales and customer engagement within a dealership environment. The successful intern will receive structured training and exposure to the full vehicle sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the sales team with daily showroom operations
• Welcome and engage customers entering the dealership
• Support sales executives with vehicle presentations and test drive coordination
• Maintain showroom standards, vehicle displays, and promotional material
• Assist with capturing customer information and updating CRM systems
• Follow up with prospective customers under supervision
• Support administrative tasks related to sales documentation
• Participate in product and sales process training

• Must meet YES Programme eligibility criteria
• South African citizen
• Aged between 18 and 35
• Currently unemployed and not studying full-time
• Matric certificate (essential)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Basic computer literacy
• Interest in vehicle sales and customer service
