ABOUT POSITION:
A Big 5 Game Lodge in Pilanesberg, North West is seeking an experienced and detail-driven Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping department and ensure exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a 5-star environment and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENT:
* RSA ID and legal residence essential
* Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper or Senior Housekeeping Supervisor in hospitality
* Strong leadership ability to manage, train, and motivate a housekeeping team
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Experience with stock control, linen management, and housekeeping systems
* Strong understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards
* Good communication and guest interaction skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced lodge environment
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Oversee and manage the housekeeping department and daily operations
* Ensure all rooms and public areas meet 5-star cleanliness and presentation standards
* Conduct regular room inspections and quality control checks
* Manage laundry operations, linen, and stock control
* Train and supervise housekeeping staff
* Maintain housekeeping schedules and staff rosters
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
* Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related issues
* Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations
PACKAGE:
* R20,000 per month (Negotiable – DOE)
* Live-in accommodation provided
