POSITION INFO:

Mining company outside of Middelburg is seeking to employ a TMM Mechanic to join their ever growing team –

Ideally 3 years experience after Apprenticeship

The ideal candidate will either reside in the surrounding areas or be willing / able to move at own cost

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of diesel engines and experience working on heavy duty equipment, particularly in the mining industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on TMM diesel engines
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance of equipment
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs
• Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times

Requirements
Proven experience as a diesel mechanic, particularly with TMM equipment

• Diesel Mechanic Trade and Grade 12 / N3 Certificate
• Technical knowledge and understanding of diesel engines
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid driver''''''''''''''''s license
