We''re looking for a talented, highly functional candidate to assist with product compliance & certification, writing of high-quality technical documentation such as product manuals and data sheets and do administrative duties relating to the testing centre.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PRODUCT COMPLIANCE & TECHNICAL WRITER ASSISTANT...

• Assist in the creation and modification of high-quality written content i.e. technical product documentation, regulatory compliance related documentation, user and help guides manuals), and other materials and make sure it meets compliance standards.
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of updates to documents and review, revise and edit documents accordingly.
• Drive cross functional engagement with subject-matter experts.
• Actively participate in project related meetings.
• Provide regular updates and reports on progress, concerns, or gaps.
• Participate in validation and testing activities as needed.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 1 - year work experience in a product testing, quality control environment.
• Experience dealing with SABS / NRCS / ICASA etc. an advantage.
• Must have excellent organizational, administrative, clerical, writing / typing / good grammar skills.
• Must be able to interpret and provide information accurately and thoroughly - precision and attention to detail is a must. ∙ Being "hands-on".
• Focused and independent, ability to self-manage time and priorities.
• Great interpersonal and strong communication skills on various levels.
• Ability to handle pressure.
• Manage multiple instructions/tasks.

QUALIFICATION & KNOWLEDGE

• Matric Certificate.
• National technical certificate, product compliance or similar or studying towards.
• Power tool & accessories product knowledge is a great advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office including Excel.
• Own transport.
