PRODUCTION ADMINISTRATOR

SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

Our client, located in the scenic Breede River Valley (Wolseley) near Worcester, is involved in the cultivation, packaging, and export of various fruit cultivars. They currently have a vacancy for a PRODUCTION ADMINISTRATOR to assist the production manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administrative duties for all farming compliance audits.
• Recruitment and induction of personnel.
• Daily Time and Attendance recordkeeping.
• Overall support for the Production Manager.
• Ad hoc administration.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric
• At least 5 years’ experience in an admin position preferably on a farm.
• Motivated to learn new systems and implement new procedures.
• Must be able to work in an ever changing/high pressure environment.
• Must be comfortable working with large volumes of personnel and dealing with enquiries.
• Ideally have own transport.
• Ability to use new systems; experience on a TMS system would be advantageous.
• Fully Bilingual in Afrikaans and English.
• Must be confident in using Outlook/Word/Excel.
• Extremely organised and be able to work under pressure.
