SUMMARY:
Operations Consultant (Department of Health)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Contract type: 

  • Permanent 

Inherent requirements: 

  • Matric 
  • Good communication skills (both written & verbal) 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Working knowledge of business practices (policies, processes and systems) 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (advances Excell skills) 

Preferred requirements and skills: 

  • Experience in retail or call centre environment training 
  • Relationship building and people skills 
Duties and responsibilities: 
  • Provide full operational service to staff in relation to administrative tasks received from hospitals or clinics and manage the complete process from beginning to end 
  • Provide switchboard relief for the Receptionist until they arrive for their shift 
  • Check the on-call report and respond to vacancies created 
  • Place on call staff into vacancies created 
  • Update all staff details and status on NIMS 
  • Update all staff availability on NIMS and MedZone 
  • Fill shifts received as soon as the client has made the request 
  • Confirm booked shifts with the relevant staff 
  • Email the client to inform them of staff members you have recruited to fill vacant positions 
  • Manage all shifts cancellations by sourcing replacements as soon as possible 
  • Notify the client of any cancellaltions and the replacements of their initial candidates 
  • Manage all client complaints which have been lodged 
  • Follow up on the clients on the calibre of candiates we have supplied them with 
  • Nominations on the Nursing Information Management System (NIMS) 
  • Loading of staff on NIMS from MedZone 
  • Secure shifts through nomination process on NIMS 
  • Conduct service calls 
  • Reconfirm staff for shifts booked (PL2) 
  • SANC registration verification and capture of new receipt number
