Job Description
Our client is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team.
- Financial Accounting.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Financial Systems Management.
- Administer and optimize financial systems, such as accounting software and ERP systems.
- Tax Compliance and Tax Planning.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely tax returns, including income tax, VAT, and other relevant taxes.
- Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Support.
- Assist in financial due diligence for potential acquisitions, including financial statement analysis and review.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, financial forecasting, and budgeting.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Audit Support.
Qualifications
Skills
- 8 to 10 years’ post articles
- Experience in construction and/or civil engineering
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Expertise in financial systems and proficiency with accounting software ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, with experience in tax planning and compliance.
- Familiarity with mergers and acquisitions processes and due diligence.
- High degree of accuracy in financial reporting.
