INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICAL SALES - Pretoria

R30 000 – R35 000 + Company Car, Petrol Car, Cell Phone, Medical Aid and Provident Fund

Large International Automation Company in Pretoria is looking to employ a Sales Person.

Proven track record with Automation Process Control and Network Systems is essential.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma / Degree in Instrumentation Field.
• 5 years’ in depth knowledge and experience in automation industry / process control.
• Experience in PLC programming and network systems.
• Sound knowledge of sensors, 3D recognition and identification systems, encoders, IO Link modules, Smart observer, Line recorder software and YPath Interface.
• Computer literacy in Lotus Notes, MS Excel / Word and PowerPoint.
• Sound presentation and communication skills.
• Be able to use media platforms in order to market products.

Duties

Be able to compile presentations to clients in the Packaging, Automotive, Food and Mining industry.

Develop a deep and trusted network within the customer base.

Be able to provide technical assistance and be able to transfer information regarding products, applications and technology to customers.

Provide courteous and quality service to customers.

Work with current client base and source new clients.

Be able to build demo equipment.

Continuous setup marketing material and participate in Trade Shows.
