SUMMARY:
Credit Control Manager - Travel & Tourism

POSITION INFO:

Description

To ensure that the accounts receivable are collected in time and the records are updated accurately.

Responsibilities

Responsible for getting outstanding accounts paid
Get marketing invoices signed off by management and clearing it before closing off the system
Responsible for sending out statements and invoices monthly
Ensuring that all debtors queries are addressed
Banking and processing of payments into the debtors accounts
Liaising with the Manager regarding Barters on Agent accounts
Following up on overdue payments on agent accounts
Dealing with the banks and bank accounts
Reconciling all the deposits on the various bank accounts
Month end Reports for management

Team Work

Building and maintaining good relationships within the team
Building relationships and supporting all business units within the Business Unit

Qualifications and Expertise

Matric/Grade 12
Tertiary Qualification in Financial Accounting would be preferred
7 years accounts receivable experience
Experience in Tourplan and Quicktrav would be preferred
