SUMMARY: SOUS CHEF
JOB DESCRIPTION:
A Luxury Safari Big 5 Game Lodge, situated in the Kruger Park regions.
You will be responsible for the following : To run the kitchen in the absence of the head chef, Must be able to work in all departments of the kitchen, Stock control, Orders, Ability to manage and lead a team in a positive manner, Must be able to work as part of a small team and on own, willing to help in all areas if lodge is quiet, No time watchers, Mainly ‘a la cart’ dining, Platters, high standard of food presentation, Own transport, Good command of English.
Minimum 2 years experience in a Game Lodge environment. Menu planning. Quick on your feet. Experience in Fine Dining and Al la Cart. Innovative and quick thinking.
